dec. is the year's sunday.

hey dudes and dudettes!
this year has been super crazy and fun and also the most exhausting ever!
i'm so beat. the good kind of beat where it feels good to give in to being tired and just hang out and watch a movie you don't even like just to prove to yourself that you can be unproductive and feel good about it.
we really went for it this year. i don't think we took more than a couple days off from doing something band related. we're going to take the rest of the year off but i'm already looking forward to getting back to work in the new year. we're working on new songs and plan on recording some of them really soon. hopefully we'll finish a new record this coming year.

i don't usually think in terms of best of year/decade lists, but we were asked by a site called ragged words to do a decade end list and this is what we came up with:

i'm excited for 2010. i'm expecting tons of rad new music in the world. i'm really excited about this group in portland called operative
i've only seen them play once but it was awesome!
also hoping for a full length from explode into colors in 2010. they're one of my fav. bands and some of my fav. people for sure!
